After the conclusion of the ODI series, Team India is all set to lock horns against Australia for the five-match T20I series.
Although the “Men in Blue” lost the 50-over format series by 1-2 against the Aussies, the visitors will look to get a fresh start ahead of the shortest format series.
Suryakumar Yadav will be leading the Indian pack in the T20I series in Australia.
IND vs AUS T20Is: Full Schedule
The first T20I match is scheduled to be played on October 29 at the Manuka Oval. The second match will be played on October 31 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), followed by the third match on November 2 at the Ninja Stadium in Tasmania.
The fourth match of the series is scheduled to be played on November 6 at the Heritage Bank Stadium in Queensland. The Gabba will host the fifth and final match of the series between Team India and Australia on November 8.
All the matches will commence at 1.45 PM.
Ahead of the T20I series, the limelight will be on Team India`s swashbuckling opening batsman, Abhishek Sharma. The left-hander enjoyed a stellar run during the concluded Asia Cup 2025.
Also, lead pacer Jasprit Bumrah, who was rested for the ODI series, considering his workload management, will be back in action.
From the Australian team, Travis Head, who tasted limited success in the ODI series, will be expected to bring his `A-game` in the T20Is. Also, it will be interesting to see if skipper Mitchell Marsh manages to secure triumph in the T20Is series after defeating India in ODIs.
The series will also serve as a preparatory contest for both teams ahead of the upcoming T20 World Cup 2026.
