In the ODI Women`s World Cup 2025 match against arch-rivals, Pakistan, Team India was bowled out for 247 runs in 50 overs at the R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium in Colombo.
Having put India to bat first, Pratika Rawal and Smriti Mandhana opened the innings and delivered a good start. Facing 32 balls, the premier batswoman, Smriti, scored 23 runs, with the help of four boundaries. On the other hand, Rawal accumulated 31 runs in 37 balls, including five boundaries.
Coming to bat at number three, Harleen Deol missed her well-deserved half-century by just four runs. In 65 balls, she scored 46 runs, which was laced with four boundaries and a maximum. Skipper Harmanpreet Kaur was able to score just 19 runs off 34 deliveries. Her knock included two boundaries.
Jemimah Rodrigues also scored 32 runs off 37 balls, with the help of five boundaries. Later, facing 33 balls, Deepti Sharma managed to play a knock of 25 runs, which included a boundary. Sneh Rana, too, scored 20 runs in 33 balls and smashed two boundaries.
Nallapureddy Charani was able to score just one run in five balls.
Pakistan elected to bowl first after winning the toss in the ODI Women`s World Cup 2025 match against India.
Having completed her spell of 10 overs, Nashra Sandhu bagged a wicket by conceding 52 runs.
