India’s captain Harmanpreet Kaur got a tattoo of the World Cup trophy made on her forearm as a tribute to the team’s stellar achievement when the beat South Africa in the summit clash on Sunday.

Later in the day, pictures of Smriti Mandhana — Harmanpreet’s deputy — donning a World Cup tattoo on her arm too began circulating.

In a video posted by the BCCI Harmanpreet, reflecting on the team’s achievement, saying, “This means a lot to me, a young girl who didn’t know about women’s cricket, but still dreaming that one day, I want to bring that change in our country. And I think it all shows that you should never stop dreaming. You never know where your destiny will take you.”
