In the third ODI match against Team India, Australia was bowled out for 236 runs in 46.4 overs at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG).
Team India`s Harshit Rana showcased his immense skills with the ball to help his side dominate over the Aussies. Bowling 8.4 overs, the pacer claimed four wickets by conceding 39 runs.
Having won the toss, Mitchell Marsh elected to bat first against the “Men in Blue”.
Opening the innings, Marsh delivered a strong start as he scored 41 runs in 50 balls, including five boundaries and a maximum. Fellow opening batsman, Travis Head, accumulated 29 runs off 25 balls, with the help of six boundaries.
Matt Short registered a score of 30 runs in 41 balls, which included two boundaries. Later, facing 58 balls, Matt Renshaw smashed 56 runs, which was laced with two boundaries.
Alex Carey returned to the pavilion after scoring 24 runs in 37 balls, including a boundary. Mitchell Owen faced four balls and managed to score just one run. Mitchell Starc departed after scoring two runs in five balls.
Cooper Connolly, too, departed after scoring 23 runs in 34 balls, with the help of two boundaries. Nathan Ellis and Josh Hazlewood scored 16 and zero runs in 19 and two balls, respectively. Ellis` knock also included three boundaries.
Adam Zampa stayed unbeaten on the score of two runs after facing five balls.
Along with Rana, Washington Sundar also bowled a good spell. He bagged two wickets by conceding 44 runs in 10 overs. Mohammed Siraj, Prasidh Krishna, Kuldeep Yadav, and Axar Patel registered one wicket each to their names.
Bowling five overs, Siraj was smashed for 24 runs. Krishna gave away 52 runs in his spell of seven overs. Kuldeep bowled 10 overs and leaked 50 runs, whereas Axar was smashed for just 18 runs in six overs.
Team India will be eager to chase a target of 237 runs and secure a victory in the third ODI match at the SCG. However, the Aussies have already sealed the series with two dominating wins, but Team India will play for their pride and will heavily rely on their stalwarts Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma.
