In the second Test match against Team India, the West Indies have reached the score of 252 runs for the loss of three wickets at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi.

So far, the side has played 78 overs and is still trailing by 18 runs.

Resuming the day, John Campbell completed his century. Facing 199 balls, he played a knock of 115 runs, which included 12 boundaries and three maximums. Later, he was dismissed by Ravindra Jadeja.

Shai Hope and skipper Roston Chase are still unbeaten at the crease. Facing 189 balls, Hope is slowly cruising to his ton. He has so far scored 92 runs, with the help of 10 boundaries and two maximums. On the other hand, Chase has faced 34 balls and scored 23 runs, including two boundaries and a maximum.

The Indian bowlers are facing difficulty in striking early wickets in the West Indies` second innings. Mohammed Siraj, Jadeja and Washington Sundar have bagged one wicket each.

Siraj has bowled just nine overs and has conceded 26 runs. Jadeja and Sundar gave away 75 and 68 runs in 25 and 19 overs, respectively.

Kuldeep Yadav and Jasprit Bumrah are yet to claim any wickets. Kuldeep was smashed for 59 runs in 15 overs, whereas Bumrah has also bowled nine overs and has conceded 17 runs.

Earlier in the match, the visitors were bowled out for 248 runs in the first innings. Alick Athanaze emerged as the top run-scorer in the first essay as he scored 41 runs off 84 balls, including five boundaries and a maximum.

Kuldeep played a crucial role in restricting the Caribbean side. Bowling 26.5 overs, he bagged five wickets by conceding 82 runs. Along with him, Jadeja registered a three-wicket haul for 46 runs in 19 overs.

Lead pacer Bumrah and Siraj also registered one wicket each to their names. Bowling 14 overs, Bumrah gave away 40 runs, and Siraj was smashed for 16 runs in his spell of nine overs.

Currently, the West Indies are trailing by 0-1 in the two-match Test series against the Shubman Gill-led Team India.
