Ahead of the IPL 2026, India`s star pacer Mohammed Shami has been traded to Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) from Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH).

So far, the pacer has made 119 appearances in the Indian Premier League`s history and has represented five franchises since 2013. In the 2023 edition of the cash-rich league, he won the Purple Cap with a total of 28 wickets in 17 matches.
On the other hand, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) veteran Ravindra Jadeja has been traded to the Rajasthan Royals. The all-rounder featured in more than 250 matches for CSK in his 12-season-long stint with the franchise.

Additionally, the Royals have traded their skipper, Sanju Samson, to Chennai. So far, Samson has played 177 matches in the IPL, and Rajasthan will mark his third franchise in the tournament.

Arjun Tendulkar, who used to represent the Mumbai Indians (MI), has been traded to Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). He began his IPL career with the Mumbai-based franchise in 2021 and made his debut in 2023.

All-rounder Donovan Ferreira is set to rejoin the Rajasthan Royals after his trade from the Delhi Capitals (DC). England`s all-rounder Sam Curran will also represent RR as he was traded from Chennai. Curran has played 64 IPL matches so far, and ahead of IPL 2026, Rajasthan is set to become his third franchise, having previously played for Punjab Kings (PBKS) and CSK.
