The stage of the Asia Cup 2025 final is all set, and the arch-rivals, India and Pakistan, are geared up to clash against each other with an aim of clinching the title.

The Asia Cup 2025 final between India and Pakistan is scheduled to be played at the Dubai International Stadium on September 28.

Ahead of the high-voltage clash against Pakistan, Team India`s head coach Morne Morkel has picked a top battle between players which will keep the fans on the edge of their seats.

He feels that the face-off between Team India`s swashbuckling batsman Abhishek Sharma and Pakistan`s fierce pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi will be worth watching.

“Shaheen is obviously an aggressive bowler that will try and knock you over. And Abhishek is not going to hold back. I think so far, every time these two went head-to-head, we all as cricket supporters and fans are on the edge of our seats, and that`s great for the game,” said Morkel.

So far, Abhishek has not endured a single failure in the ongoing continental tournament and has smashed Shaheen all around the ground in the previous meeting.

“Yeah, so let`s look forward to that on Sunday and enjoy the battle,” the former Proteas pace ace added on the two once again locking horns during Sunday`s grand finale.

Suryakumar Yadav-led Team India will enter the clash after securing a win over Sri Lanka by `Super Over`. On the other hand, Pakistan has also registered a victory against Bangladesh in their `Super Four` match.

The final promises to be a highly entertaining encounter between the fierce rivals fighting for the title.
