In the ODI Women`s World Cup 2025 match against Australia, Team India was bowled out for 330 runs in 48.5 overs at the ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam.

Opening the innings for India, the opening duo of Pratika Rawal and Smriti Mandhana delivered a strong start. Facing 96 balls, Pratika accumulated 75 runs, with the help of 10 boundaries and a maximum. On the other hand, Smriti garnered 80 runs in just 66 deliveries. Her knock was laced with nine boundaries and three maximums.

Smriti also became the first player in women`s ODIs to score 1,000 runs in a calendar year. The 29-year-old opener also completed 5000 runs in women`s ODIs, becoming only the fifth and second Indian batswoman after Mithali Raj to achieve the feat.

Coming to bat at number three, Harleen Deol scored 38 runs in 42 balls, including three boundaries and a maximum. Skipper Harmanpreet Kaur also registered 22 runs after facing 17 balls. She also smashed three boundaries.

Facing 21 balls, Jemimah Rodrigues played a knock of 33 runs off 21 balls, including five boundaries. Wicketkeeper-batswoman, Richa Ghosh, also delivered a knock of 32 runs in 22 balls, which included three boundaries and two maximums.

Deepti Sharma and Kranti Goud registered the scores of one run each in six and three balls, respectively. Amanjot Kaur also scored 16 runs in 12 balls, with the help of two boundaries. Nallapureddy Charani returned to the pavilion on a two-ball duck.

Sneh Rana stayed unbeaten on the score of eight runs in six balls. She also has one boundary to her name.

Australia`s Annabel Sutherland shone brightly with a five-wicket haul. She bowled 9.5 overs and conceded 40 runs. Sophie Molineux also returned with the figures of three wickets for 75 runs in 10 overs. Megan Schutt, Ashleigh Gardner also snapped one wicket each. Schutt was smashed for 37 runs in 6.1 overs, whereas Gardner gave away 40 runs in her spell of seven overs.

Kim Garth, Tahlia McGrath, and Alana King went wicketless in the ODI Women`s World Cup 2025 match against Team India. In her five-over spell, Garth conceded 35 runs. McGrath and King were smashed for 43 and 49 runs in 4.5 and six overs, respectively.
