Playing in his 23rd first-class season, soon-to-be-41 Paras Dogra (112 not out) played a captain’s knock for Jammu and Kashmir, but Mumbai are firmly in sight of a first innings lead on Day Two of their Ranji Trophy Group D contest here on Thursday. 

After Mumbai ended their first innings on 386 with seamer Yudhvir Singh (5-96), denying Shams Mulani (91) a chance to score a hundred, J&K reached 273-7 at stumps.

J&K were tottering at 166-6 before Dogra added 68 for the seventh-wicket with Abid Mushtaq (40) and 39 for an unbroken eighth-wicket stand with Aqib Nabi (15 batting).
