A severe road accident occurred in Juhu involving a security vehicle for Bollywood star Akshay Kumar on Monday evening. The incident, which involved a chain reaction between two cars and an auto rickshaw, left two individuals injured. Mohammed Sameer, the brother of the auto rickshaw driver, has urgently appealed for assistance to cover his brother’s medical expenses as he is currently in a critical condition.
In an interview with ANI, Sameer explained, “Around 8 to 8:30 pm, my brother was driving his rickshaw with a passenger in the back when Akshay Kumar’s Innova and a Mercedes were behind them. The Mercedes collided with the Innova, which then crashed into the rickshaw. My brother and the passenger got trapped beneath it, and the rickshaw was completely destroyed. My brother is in very serious shape.”

He further stated, “We were asked to leave the scene… My only plea is for my brother to receive adequate treatment and for compensation to be provided for the rickshaw. We don’t want anything else.”
“We took my brother to Criti Care, but we’re struggling financially and can’t afford the costs. All I want is for him to recover,” he added.
Regarding the accident, it was reported that Akshay Kumar’s security vehicle was involved in a significant collision on Monday night in Juhu. The incident unfolded when a car hit an auto-rickshaw from behind, causing it to flip and collide with Akshay’s escort vehicle.
According to Mumbai Police, the accident occurred around 9:00 pm, and thankfully, no members of Akshay Kumar’s family were in the car, which is primarily used for his private security detail. The two injured individuals were promptly transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Footage from the scene shows locals assisting authorities in rescuing an injured person from the wreckage. The Juhu police have initiated a case against the driver of the Mercedes for rash and negligent driving, and an investigation is currently underway.
