Bollywood star Anushka Sharma and her husband, renowned cricketer Virat Kohli, were recently spotted arriving at Mumbai airport. In the videos shared online, Virat sported a casual shirt and pants, while Anushka opted for an elegant suit. The couple made a heartfelt visit to Premanand Maharaj’s ashram in Vrindavan, and images from their trip have quickly gained traction on social media.
Their visit to Premanand Maharaj marks a significant moment as it was their first in 2026. On Tuesday morning, they arrived at Keli Kunj Ashram around 5:30 am to seek blessings from the esteemed spiritual leader. Many celebrities are known to admire Maharaj, who runs the ashram in Vrindavan, and Anushka and Virat have been among his regular visitors. Photos from their visit showcased the couple in traditional attire—Virat donned a dhoti-kurta while Anushka looked radiant in a blue and white ensemble. They also wore tulsi malas and tilaks, participating in chants at the ashram.
Previously, in December, they visited Shri Hit Radha Keli Kunj at Varah Ghat, where they engaged in a deeply personal spiritual experience. Clips from that occasion went viral as they were seen attentively listening to the guru.
This December visit was their third to the Vrindavan ashram; earlier in May, they had gone after Kohli announced his retirement from Test cricket. He concluded an illustrious red-ball career, having played 123 Tests for India, scoring 9,230 runs at an average of 46.85, including 30 centuries.
Notably, singer Palaash Muchhal also recently visited Premanand Maharaj’s ashram. Following the reported cancellation of his wedding with cricketer Smriti Mandhana, he was spotted among devotees, accompanied by his mother. Wearing a mask, he listened intently to the Maharaj during the visit, which occurred on the day of the planned ceremony on November 23 in Sangli.
On the professional front, Anushka Sharma was last seen in the film Zero and has not yet committed to new projects. She does have a film titled Chakda Xpress awaiting release after completing its shooting well in advance.
