On Sunday morning, actress Esha Gupta took to social media to reassure her followers that she is safe amidst the rising tensions in the Middle East. Currently in Abu Dhabi, Esha emphasized her security despite the conflict sparked by Israel and the United States’ military actions against Iran, which have led to retaliatory strikes. Reports indicate that Iran has targeted U.S. airbases in the region.
In her Instagram Stories, Esha expressed gratitude to fans reaching out, stating, “To everyone checking in and messaging, I apologize for not replying sooner. We are okay, we are safe! These times are frightening and challenging. I trust God to watch over us.”
She added, “We believe the government is doing everything possible to ensure our safety. I am praying for everyone affected by this crisis, especially those stranded. Hoping to return home soon.”
In another situation, actress Sonal Chauhan reached out for assistance on Saturday night, urging the Indian government to help her return from Dubai. The city has temporarily closed its airspace following missile threats, leaving her feeling “stranded” due to canceled flights and uncertainty about when services will resume. In her message, she directly appealed to the government for guidance and support.
Sonal shared, “Hon’ble PM Narendra Modi ji, I’m currently stuck in Dubai amid this ongoing crisis. Flights have been canceled, and I need assistance to get back home safely. Any help from the government would be immensely appreciated.”
Earlier in the day, Al Jazeera reported that four individuals were injured after an Iranian drone struck Dubai International Airport, damaging a passenger terminal. Emergency teams were promptly deployed in collaboration with local authorities. This incident unfolded amidst escalating tensions following joint missile strikes by the U.S. and Israel on Iran, with significant explosions reported in Tehran and other major cities. Iranian state media even claimed that Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, had been killed in the attacks.
