In a highly anticipated collaboration, Vishal Bharadwaj and Shahid Kapoor join forces once again for the action-packed film O’Romeo. The trailer was unveiled at a lavish event in Mumbai, attended by the film’s cast. However, the event took an unexpected turn when veteran actor Nana Patekar walked out, leaving attendees in shock.
Nana Patekar’s departure from the O’Romeo trailer launch came after he waited for an extended period for fellow actors Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri. He made a notable entrance at around noon and was present as the event kicked off. Unfortunately, Shahid and Triptii did not arrive until approximately 1:30 PM to reveal the film’s poster. After sitting through nearly an hour and a half of waiting, Nana decided to leave, creating quite a stir among those present.
Despite his exit, the film’s producers and cast continued to engage with the media, posing for photographs and enjoying the event. Attending the launch were notable figures such as Sajid Nadiadwala, Vishal Bharadwaj, Shahid Kapoor, Triptii Dimri, Avinash Tiwary, and Farida Jalal.

The trailer offers a thrilling peek into a world fueled by desire, power, and survival, set against Mumbai’s gritty backdrop. Inspired by real events, this Vishal Bharadwaj film intricately weaves romance, action, and emotional layers with his distinctive storytelling flair. The movie’s emotional richness is further enhanced by the collaboration of Vishal Bhardwaj with Arijit Singh and Gulzar Sahab. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, O’Romeo promises to deliver intensity, scale, and ambitious storytelling, set to grace theaters this Valentine’s Day.
This film marks the fourth partnership between Shahid Kapoor and Vishal Bharadwaj, following their successful ventures Kaminey, Haider, and Rangoon. Their collaborative efforts are characterized by a mutual dedication to exploring complex characters and themes of moral ambiguity, grief, and psychological tension.
