International icon Priyanka Chopra is taking a little piece of Hyderabad with her as she heads back to Los Angeles after wrapping up her latest shoot for the anticipated drama, “Varanasi.” She shared a delightful snapshot on her Instagram Stories featuring the beloved bun maska, which she packed for her flight. “Taking a piece of Hyderabad with me..see you soon..xx (sic),” she captioned the post.
Before her departure, Priyanka mentioned that it marked her last working day in Hyderabad for the month while collaborating on S.S. Rajamouli’s project. She also revealed her upcoming trip back to L.A. to promote her English action thriller, “The Bluff.” After the promotions, she will return to the sets of “Varanasi,” where she plays the lead role of Mandakini—a significant return to Indian cinema after a considerable break. The first-look posters showcase her in a striking yellow saree, wielding a pistol.
Joining Priyanka in this much-anticipated film are Mahesh Babu, who portrays Rudhra, and Prithviraj Sukumaran as Kumbha. Mahesh Babu has expressed admiration for his co-star after viewing the thrilling trailer for “The Bluff,” describing Priyanka’s performance as “uncompromising and formidable.” He shared his excitement on Instagram, writing, “Loved the trailer… @PriyankaChopra is uncompromising and formidable yet again 💥💥 Wishing the entire team of #TheBluff all the best for February 25th… (sic),” accompanied by hug emojis.
In “The Bluff,” Priyanka takes on an action-oriented role as Ercell Bodden, a fierce pirate. Produced by the Russo Brothers under AGBO Studios and Amazon MGM Studios, the film also stars Temuera Morrison as Quartermaster Lee, alongside a talented ensemble including Ismael Cruz Córdova, Safia Oakley-Green, Zach Morris, David Field, and Vedanten Naidoo. The film is set to hit theaters on February 25.
