Rasha Thadani is reminiscing as she marks the one-year anniversary of her debut film, Azaad. To celebrate this special occasion, the actress penned a heartfelt message, cherishing the friendships and experiences gained throughout the film’s journey. Rasha took to Instagram, sharing a collection of behind-the-scenes photos from Azaad, showcasing her in character as Janaki. In her post, she expressed, “One year of Azaad and my heart is so full. I will never forget these memories, and the friends made for life, including pragyakapoor and mohitmalik1113. Through all the magic and madness, my partner in crime aamandevgan has been by my side.” She continued with a note of gratitude, stating, “I’m forever thankful for everything and more, gattukapoor; you are the coolest person we know. Directed by Abhishek Kapoor, this period drama features Ajay Devgn and Diana Penty alongside newcomers Aaman Devgan and Rasha. Set in 1920s India, the film tells the story of a young stable boy who forges a bond with a spirited horse. Amidst rebellion and oppression, his journey to ride the majestic animal becomes a tale of bravery, awakening him to the country’s struggle for freedom.
Next, Rasha will be featured in the romantic drama Laikey Laikaa, alongside Abhay Verma, known for his role in Munjya. The film’s poster was revealed during Makar Sankranti, accompanied by the tagline “Love. Pain. Trust.” Abhay Verma is also set to appear in Siddharth Anand’s highly awaited film, King, featuring a star-studded cast including Shah Rukh Khan, Suhana Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Anil Kapoor. The 26-year-old actor first gained fame in the second season of the thriller series The Family Man and made his lead debut in the indie film Safed, with a notable breakthrough in the comedy horror Munjya in 2024.
