Sham Kaushal, father of Bollywood star Vicky Kaushal, has described his grandson, Vihaan Kaushal, as his greatest ‘blessing.’ Taking to Instagram, Sham expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the divine for the arrival of little Vihaan, writing, “Mera Pota (Grandson) Vihaan Kaushal. Bhagwan ka jitna bhi shukar karu kam hain (I cannot thank God enough). Blessings, blessings & blessings (sic),” accompanied by hug emojis.
This touching note followed the announcement by Vicky and his wife, Katrina Kaif, who revealed their son’s name just two months after his birth. The couple shared an adorable photograph featuring Vihaan’s tiny hand resting on theirs, captioning it, “Our Ray of Light…Vihaan Kaushal…Prayers are answered…Life is beautiful…Our world is changed in an instant…Gratitude beyond words.”
Sunny Kaushal, Vihaan’s uncle, elaborated on the meaning of his name in a social media post, stating, “Vihaan…The first ray of light.” Vicky and Katrina welcomed their first child on November 7, 2025, and Sham, affectionately known as ‘dadaji,’ shared a heartfelt message on social media to celebrate this new addition to the Kaushal family.
His touching Instagram message read, “Shukriya Rab da…(folded hands emojis) Kal se Bhagwan ka mere parivar pe etne meherban rehne ke liye, jitna bhi shukar kar raha hun, unki blessings ke samne kam pad raha hai. God is & has been so kind. Bhagwan ki meherbani aise hi mere bachon pe aur sabse junior kaushal pe bani rahe. Hum sab bahut khush hain aur bahut blessed feel kar rahe hain. (Thank you, God…for being so kind to my family, no matter how much I thank him, it feels insufficient in front of all his blessings. God is and has been so kind. May God’s grace continue to remain on my children and the youngest Kaushal. We are all very happy and feel very blessed.) (sic).”
He concluded with joy over becoming a grandfather, saying, “So so happy on becoming Dada. May God bless all, Rab Rakha (folded hands emojis).” This beautiful moment has been shared through various media channels, although Mid-day does not take responsibility for the accuracy of the information presented.
