In the Asia Cup 2025 final against Pakistan, Team India came victorious by five wickets at the Dubai International Stadium. With an aim of chasing a target of 147 runs, the “Men in Blue” scored 150 runs for the loss of five wickets in 19.4 overs.

Tilak Varma was the architect of India`s innings. Facing 53 balls, the left-hander played an unbeaten knock of 69 runs, including three boundaries and four maximums. Along with him, Shivam Dube, too, played a crucial role. He delivered a knock of 33 runs after facing 22 balls, which included two boundaries and the same number of maximums.

Along with Tilak, Rinku Singh stayed unbeaten and smashed the winning runs. Facing one ball, he smashed a boundary and helped India to clinch the Asia Cup 2025 final title.

Opening the innings for India, in-form batsman Abhishek Sharma departed early, as he scored just five runs in six balls, with the help of a boundary. Fellow opening batsman, Shubman Gill, scored 12 runs off 10 balls, which also included a boundary.

The Indian skipper Suryakumar Yadav`s Asia Cup 2025 campaign ended on a poor note. Facing five balls, the right-hander was able to score just one run.

Having put to bat first in the Asia Cup 2025 final against Team India, Pakistan was bowled out for 146 runs in 19.1 overs.

Opening the innings for Pakistan, Sahibzada Farhan played a knock of 57 runs off just 38 deliveries. His knock was laced with five boundaries and three maximums. Fellow opening batsman, Fakhar Zaman, scored 46 runs in 35 balls, including two boundaries and the same number of maximums.

Saim Ayub scored 14 runs in 11 balls, with the help of two boundaries. Except for these three batsmen, no other Pakistani player managed to score in double figures. Mohammad Haris departed on a two-ball duck. Skipper Salman Ali Agha managed to score just eight runs in seven balls, without smashing any boundaries or maximums.

Hussain Talat returned to the pavilion after scoring just one run in balls. Mohammad Nawaz, too, was dismissed for six runs in nine balls. Shaheen Shah Afridi and Faheem Ashraf registered ducks in three and two balls, respectively.

Haris Rauf managed to score six runs off four balls, including a boundary. Abrar Ahmed stayed unbeaten on one run in two balls.

Wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav was the most successful bowler for Team India. Completing his quota of four overs, he conceded 30 runs and bagged four wickets. Axar Patel and Varun Chakaravarthy bagged two wickets each to their names. Bowling four overs each, Axar gave away 26 runs, whereas Chakaravarthy was smashed for 30 runs.

Lead pacer Jasprit Bumrah conceded 25 runs in 3.1 overs and managed to pick two wickets. Tilak Varma and Shivam Dube went wicketless in the Asia Cup 2025 final match against Pakistan.

Dube bowled three overs and leaked 23 runs, and Varma gave away nine runs in one over.
