The creators of Aditya Dhar’s highly anticipated sequel, Dhurandhar, have just released the teaser for its second installment. Following the massive box office success of the first film, the sequel is set to hit theaters on March 19, 2026. Fans are treated to an exciting sneak peek that reveals what lies ahead for the story.
In the teaser, we witness the evolution of Ranveer Singh’s character, Hamza, who rises to power after the dramatic climax where he eliminates Akshaye Khanna’s Rehman Baloch. This teaser serves as an extension of the post-credit scene from the original Dhurandhar, incorporating elements from the film’s initial trailer.
Dhurandhar 2 delves deeper into the life of Ranveer’s character Jaskirat Singh Rangi, chronicling his transformation into an Indian spy known as Hamza Ali Mazhari. The story resumes with Hamza, who has successfully infiltrated the underworld of Pakistan. After defeating the notorious Rehman Dakait, he climbs the ranks but soon faces a new adversary: Major Iqbal, the cunning ISI mastermind referred to as Bade Sahab.
Prior to the teaser’s release, the filmmakers revealed the sequel’s title as Dhurandhar: The Revenge, accompanied by a striking poster that offers a glimpse of the thrilling next chapter in this action-packed franchise. Ranveer took to Instagram to unveil the poster, which is drenched in deep red hues, setting an intense tone. He stands at the center, soaked in rain, with an unyielding gaze, while the title “THE REVENGE” looms ominously in the background, hinting at a darker narrative ahead.

Dhurandhar also features a stellar cast, including R. Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, and Arjun Rampal. The first installment of this two-part series revolves around a high-stakes covert counter-terrorism operation, focusing on an undercover Indian intelligence agent who infiltrates Karachi’s criminal syndicates and political structures to dismantle a terror network targeting India. The storyline draws on real-life geopolitical events and conflicts in South Asia, such as the 1999 IC-814 hijacking, the 2001 Indian Parliament attack, the 2008 Mumbai attacks, and aspects related to Pakistan’s Operation Lyari.
