Just as Bigg Boss 19 wrapped up, Amaal Mallik became entangled in a scandal as the musician duo Sachet-Parampara produced a lengthy video accusing the composer of making “false and baseless” accusations about the origin of the Bekhayali song from Sandeep Reddy Vanga`s Kabir Singh. Now, Amaal Mallik appears to have responded to the dispute.
Amaal Mallik reacts to Sachet and Parampara`s demand
During a recent public interaction, Amaal smiled while speaking with the media. Just as he was being questioned about the situation, his representative led him away, saying, “No, no, no, baad main.” Amaal exited the chat with “best wishes”.
Sachet-Parampara recently stated on Instagram that they felt obligated to speak out for their “mental peace,” citing Amaal Mallik`s repeated claims that the composition resembled an older tune of his.
In the video, the duo claimed that Bekhayali was fully produced by them during music sessions with the Kabir Singh crew, which included Shahid Kapoor and director Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
Sachet-Parampara shares proof against Amaal
They mentioned, “We have all the chats with Amaal Mallik, we have all the chats with the Kabir Singh team, because the entire Kabir Singh team was there when we created this song. Every melody, every composition, every arrangement, every lyric was done when the entire team was there, and it is purely a Sachet and Parampara original composition.”
Sachet and Parampara revealed Amaal`s texts and stated that he is now “claiming” that “I have stolen your song”. They explained, “I`m just trying to communicate all these things. I`m sorry we had to descend so low. And I have to tell you everything like this. What we are trying to figure out is, Amaal, why are you doing all of this? And you are saying, “I love it.” “Why are you doing all of this?”
They requested verification from Amaal Mallik for the claims he has made, and they would provide their own. The musicians wanted a public apology, claiming that the insults had harmed their reputation. This follows Amaal`s statement in an interview with Siddharth Kannan that Sachet-Parampara utilized his tune as a reference for Bekhayali. Amaal stated that he shared the song with the couple over WhatsApp messaging.
