Ahead of the November 21 release of the adult comedy Mastiii 4, the censor board has asked for several modifications. The film, starring Riteish Deshmukh, Vivek Oberoi, and Aftab Shivdasani, has been directed by Indra Kumar. The adult comedy has been cleared by the CBFC with a handful of changes.
According to Bollywood Hungama, the CBFC requested only a few modifications. Three dialogues were altered and one was completely replaced. Words like “behen” and “item” were substituted with more suitable terms. The CBFC also changed the name of an alcohol brand—likely to a fictional one—to avoid promotional concerns.
The board also objected to some visuals in the film. The makers were asked to remove a nine-second “top-angle animal humping” scene and a 30-second sequence featuring close-up shots of human faces. In total, 39 seconds were edited out of the film.
After the changes were implemented, Mastiii 4 was granted an A certificate on November 17. The censor certificate lists the film’s final runtime as 144.17 minutes (2 hours, 24 minutes, and 17 seconds).

The makers of the much-anticipated sequel Mastiii 4 released the trailer, marking the return of Riteish, Vivek, and Aftab as Amar, Meet, and Prem.
Sharing his excitement, Riteish said, “Returning to a beloved franchise brings a unique thrill. Mastiii 4 is outrageously funny with a wicked twist.” He added that working with Vivek and Aftab again felt like a college reunion. “I haven’t laughed this much on set in ages. Under Milap’s direction, expect pure, unexpected madness!”
Vivek said, “This is just the trailer of all the madness in this film, and I’m super excited to be back with my Masti brigade for round four! From Indra Kumar kickstarting this mad ride years ago to Milap taking it to a new level, it’s been a laughter-filled journey. The chemistry between us is magic—Mastiii 4 is pure comedy chaos.”
Aftab added, “For me, Mastiii has always been more than a film—it’s a bond of friendship, laughter, and timing. What began as three friends having fun has become an emotion audiences cherish. Returning with Mastiii 4 feels like reliving that magic again.”
Joining the laughter riot are Shreya Sharma, Ruhii Singh, and Elnaaz Norouzi, with Tusshar Kapoor, Shaad Randhawa, and Nishant Malkani in supporting roles.
Mastiii 4 releases in cinemas on November 21.
