Speaking to us at the Mid-day Showbiz icon awards, Bazmee shared an update on No Entry 2. “It will start very soon. It took a lot of time to write it and plan the shoot. Now we are almost ready and very soon we can start the shoot.”
The 2005 No Entry, which was also directed by Bazmee, was a massive success upon its release. The storyline centered around three married men hiding their extramarital affairs from their wives.
Anees Bazmee on Bhool Bhulaiyaa 4
Further we also inquired on the status of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 4 or whether it is even in the cards. The director said that the makers are clear that they do not want to make a fourth part just because part 2 and 3 were massive hits. “We are still figuring out the story. It`s not very easy. We will start when there is a good story worth making.”
Refreshing your memory, Kartik Aaryan replaced Akshay Kumar in `Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2` and has been the face of the series ever since. Both his films, `Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2` and `Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3` were well received by the audience. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has Kiara Advani and Tabu as the female leads while the third part saw the entry of Madhuri Dixit and Triptii Dimri. The third also welcomed back Vidya Balan into the franchise.
In the meantime, Kartik is presently busy with Karan Johar`s “Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri,” where he will be seen romancing Ananya Panday.
