Jealous much?
Actor Jaideep Ahlawat, who will next appear in filmmaker Sriram Raghavan’s Ikkis, admits he gets “jealous” every time he spots someone in an Army uniform — his childhood dream career. The Pataal Lok star, who has several friends in the Army, revealed that he failed the Services Selection Board exams twice, a fact he now narrates with a mix of nostalgia and mischief. He said, “I thought I’d be a good Army officer, but unfortunately, I was sent back home. It is an emotional moment for me. I have many friends in the Indian Army. Whenever I see someone in uniform, I get goosebumps because that was my first dream as an 18–19-year-old boy who wanted to join the Army.”
