Angry netizens slammed the media portal behind the pictures, calling them out for not respecting the privacy of a woman in her own home.
Katrina Kaif`s picture clicked without consent
On Friday morning, a media portal dropped a picture of Katrina standing on her Mumbai home’s balcony. A photographer had zoomed into her house and captured her unaware. Along with the pictures, the caption of the now-deleted post read, “Exclusive: Katrina Kaif steps out in her balcony as she nears her delivery date.”
The post was not well-received by social media users, who slammed the media house for invading Katrina’s privacy. Many called the act “criminal” and “shameful.” Actress Sonakshi Sinha was also shocked by this invasion of privacy and called out the media portal in the comment section, writing, “What is wrong with you all? Photographing a woman in her own home without consent and publishing it on a public platform? You’re nothing less than criminals. Shameful.”
Following the backlash, the post was taken down from the media portal’s Instagram handle.
Katrina and Vicky expect first child
On Tuesday, Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal revealed that they are expecting their first child. The couple shared a Polaroid photo capturing a tender moment, with Vicky lovingly holding his wife’s baby bump. The caption read, “On our way to start the best chapter of our lives with hearts full of joy and gratitude.”
