Indian singer and composer Palaash Muchhal’s wedding with Indian cricketer Smriti Mandhana was set to take place on November 23. However, the wedding was halted as Smriti’s father’s health deteriorated and he was hospitalised. Amid this, Palaash was accused of infidelity, with several chats going viral. Now, Palaash’s cousin Neeti Tak has urged everyone to stop making assumptions.

Palaash’s cousin, Neeti Tak, posted a statement addressing the swirling rumours and urging the public to refrain from making assumptions about Palaash’s character. Sharing a gradient background post, she wrote: “Palaash is going through a critical condition today. You all should not judge Palaash as wrong without knowing the truth. Technology today has advanced much beyond humans, which is why people should not judge Palaash based on rumours. Pray for him.”
About Smriti and Palaash’s wedding
While Smriti has deleted all posts from the wedding festivities with Palaash, she hasn’t removed their previous Instagram posts — including birthday wishes and an adorable photo she shared with him. Even Smriti’s friends have unfollowed Palaash on social media.
His sister, popular singer Palak Muchhal, said in a statement, “Due to Smriti`s dad`s health, Smriti and Palaash`s wedding has been put on hold. We request all of you to respect the privacy of the families during this sensitive time.”
Speaking about the same, his mother, Amita Muchhal, claimed that the music composer was deeply affected by Shrinivas’ ill health. “He cried so much that his health suddenly deteriorated. They kept him in the hospital for four hours. He was given an IV drip, an ECG was done, and other tests were carried out. Everything came back normal, but he is under a lot of stress.” She also stated that it was Palaash who took the decision to postpone the wedding.
After the wedding was put on hold, social media buzzed with unverified rumours, including claims that Palaash cheated on Smriti. Adding a new twist, an Instagram user named Mary D’Costa shared screenshots on Reddit alleging they were her private chats with Palaash. Amidst the wedding being postponed, Palaash`s old video of proposing to his ex-girlfriend has also gone viral.
