Veteran actor Prem Chopra was admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Bandra, Mumbai, on November 10. He has now been discharged and is recovering well. The 90-year-old actor had been experiencing breathing discomfort, prompting his family to seek immediate medical attention. As per reports, doctors at the hospital confirmed that he has an existing heart condition and had also developed a viral and lung infection, but clarified that he was never in a critical state.

Veteran actor Prem Chopra has been discharged from Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai after being admitted for chest congestion on November 8. According to the actor`s family, Prem Chopra returned home on Saturday after receiving treatment at Lilavati Hospital.

Earlier, Dr. Jalil Parker said in a statement, “Prem Chopra ji was admitted to Lilavati Hospital two days ago under his family cardiologist Dr. Nitin Gokhale. He has a heart issue and also developed a viral infection and lung infection, for which I am also the treating physician in the same team. He is not in the ICU; he is in the ward, and he is not critical.”

He further mentioned, “He has age-related issues, and that is why it takes time for an elderly gentleman to recover. He is 92 years old, so he should be discharged in another 2–3 days. He is stable.”
