Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan will turn 60 on November 2. Ahead of his birthday, the star surprised fans with a quick #AskSRK session. The actor has been busy in recent months promoting his son Aryan Khan’s directorial debut, The Ba***ds of Bollywood. However, fans are now eagerly waiting for SRK’s next big release titled *King*. While many await the teaser drop on his birthday, another major highlight will be his annual fan meet at his residence, Mannat.
Will SRK greet fans from Mannat on birthday?
There were reports that Shah Rukh Khan might miss his yearly tradition of greeting fans from Mannat’s balcony as the house is undergoing renovation. The Khan family has temporarily moved out and is currently residing in another part of Bandra, Mumbai. This led to speculation that SRK might skip his customary wave this time.
During the #AskSRK session on X (formerly Twitter), a fan asked the superstar if he would still greet fans from Mannat. To this, SRK sweetly replied, “Of course, but I may have to wear a hard hat,” referring to the ongoing construction work at his home.

Another fan asked Khan about his priorities at this stage of life. He replied, “Spending time with my kids… remaining tough and healthy so I can entertain… and being generally more patient and loving.”

Shah Rukh Khan Film Festival announced
Meanwhile, PVR announced a film festival dedicated to the superstar to celebrate his 60th birthday. Seven of his iconic films will be re-released in theatres from October 31.
The lineup includes Chennai Express, Devdas, Dil Se, Jawan, Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa, Main Hoon Na, and Om Shanti Om. Talking about the festival, SRK said, “Cinema has always been my home, and seeing these films return to the big screen feels like a beautiful reunion. These movies are not just my stories—they belong to the audience that has embraced them for over 33 years. I’m grateful to PVR INOX and Red Chillies Entertainment for celebrating this journey with such love. I hope everyone relives the joy, the music, and the magic of cinema we’ve shared together.
