Actress Shriya Saran is outraged after realising that someone has been impersonating her and contacting people on her behalf. She took to social media to call out the fake, imploring him to quit immediately. “Please stop writing to people and wasting time.”
Shriya rushed to Instagram on Wednesday to rat out an imposter, posting a screenshot of the phone number used to deceive others. The screenshot also showed that the impostor had set her photo as the display picture.

“Whoever this idiot is.” Please stop writing to people and wasting time! Unfortunately, this is odd. “I feel bad about wasting people`s time,” Shriya stated in her post.
The Drishyam 2 actor then urged everyone to be cautious, stating that the imposter had even approached persons she admires.
The Drishyam actor continued, “This is not me ! Not my number! On a lighter note the only good thing is , this crapy person is reaching out to people I admire and would love to work with! Very strange ! Why would you , waste your time doing this? Go get a life, not someone’s impersonator.”
Shriya took to her Instagram handle, sharing a warning against the scam. Shriya wrote, “Scam alert… Fake.. Getting calls from friends that someone is trying to impersonate me, kindly stay away from this fake number from any communications, work booking, strictly no payments.”

The heated message alarmed her supporters, who rushed to the comments section to express their concerns. One person responded, “I`m sorry you`re having to cope with something so stressful, Shriya Ma`am. It must be really frustrating to watch someone misusing your identity and causing difficulties for others. You handled it with such elegance, and your true admirers absolutely understand how you feel – no impersonator can ever match your warmth, dignity, and gorgeous smile. More strength to you, ma`am.”
“Why are you paying attention to this?” Just avoid,” another said, with one adding, “Madam, please share this number with Cyber Crime or file a report, and they will take care of it.”
Shriya had a surprise appearance in the Tamil romantic action thriller Retro, directed by Karthik Subbaraj and starring Suriya and Pooja Hegde. She was riding high in September when the Telugu fantasy action flick Mirai, directed by Karthik Gattamneni, debuted well. In addition to Shriya, the film starred Teja Sajja, Manchu Manoj, Jagapathi Babu, Ritika Nayak, and Jayaram.
