In the first ODI match against Team India, Australia skipper Mitchell Marsh won the toss and elected to bowl first at the Optus Stadium in Perth.
The match also marked India`s traditional opening batsman, Rohit Sharma`s 500th international appearance for the “Men in Blue”.
Additionally, Nitish Kumar Reddy has received the debut cap in the One-Day Internationals (ODIs) from Rohit.
