The Mumbai Advocates Premier League (MAPL) kicks off across various venues in the city on Friday.
The eight-team franchise-based competition, for advocates across Mumbai, Thane, and Palghar districts, is being jointly organised by the ACC and JFSC. The tournament will be held from November 8-22, with the final scheduled at Fatima High School cricket ground, in Vidyavihar.
Each team comprises 16 players with a Mentor and Team Icon. All matches will be officiated by MCA umpires and covered by YouTube and other social media outlets. Besides winner and runner-up trophies, there will also be prizes for the best bowler, best wicketkeeper, maximum sixes and player of the tournament.
