Actress Soha Ali Khan has once again taken to social media to voice her concerns over the deplorable state of Mumbai’s roads. During a leisurely evening stroll, she encountered a crumbling sidewalk, which she described as a potential ‘death trap’ due to the risk of accidents. Sharing a video on her Instagram Stories, Soha remarked, “Just a relaxing evening stroll navigating sidewalks that collapse into death traps (sic).” This isn’t the first instance where Soha has drawn attention to the issue; she previously criticized the ongoing and hazardous road construction in Bandra. In a poignant post, she shared a photograph of her daughter, Inaaya, observing the chaotic construction scene while carefully standing on a muddy, damaged road surrounded by barricades and debris. Meanwhile, Soha recently celebrated the 20th anniversary of her landmark film, “Rang De Basanti,” alongside co-stars Aamir Khan, Siddharth, Sharman Joshi, Kunal Kapoor, Atul Kulkarni, Ronnie Screwvala, Siddharth Roy Kapur, and Ajit Andhare. On Instagram, she posted heartwarming moments from their emotional reunion, including a clip of the cast and crew cutting a cake to commemorate two decades since the film’s release. “20 years later – we showed up! A few were missed but the spirit was still 🔥 #rangdebasanti 🇮🇳 #twentyyearsofrangdebasanti #reunion,” Soha captioned the post. Directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, “Rang De Basanti” tells the inspiring story of a group of friends who, influenced by India’s revolutionary heroes, rise against the corruption prevalent in modern society.
