In the wake of Rajpal Yadav’s recent surrender to Tihar Jail, where he expressed feelings of isolation in the film industry, numerous celebrities have rallied to his side. This situation arose after he faced legal troubles related to a Rs 9 crore debt and a cheque bounce case. Among the first to advocate for support, actor Sonu Sood called upon the Bollywood community to lend a hand to Rajpal. Recently, the actor’s manager, Goldie, shared in an interview that several prominent figures have offered their assistance.
Goldie mentioned, “Many have reached out to support Rajpal Yadav, including actors like Sonu Sood, Salman Khan, and Ajay Devgn. I was on a call with David Dhawan, who also expressed his willingness to help. Ratan Jain, Varun Dhawan, and many others are stepping forward, which Rajpal greatly appreciates.”
While he chose not to disclose whether Rajpal had contacted anyone prior to his surrender, Goldie emphasized that the industry has come together in solidarity now that the situation has escalated. He commented, “Everyone is making commitments, but these arrangements take time. Mentally, it’s important for the family to stay strong. Rajpal Bhai himself possesses remarkable strength, and that resilience is a family trait.” He expressed optimism about Rajpal’s potential release soon, noting, “There are family celebrations planned for February, and everyone hopes Rajpal Bhai will be free by then. We are looking forward to tomorrow’s bail hearing with hope. The bail application has been filed, and we will update everyone after the hearing.”
In a related appeal, FWICE has called upon the industry to offer both moral and financial support to Rajpal Yadav. According to a recent ANI update, the Federation urged producers, directors, artists, technicians, and supporters to assist him in overcoming his liabilities and restoring his dignity and peace of mind. The statement emphasized, “Those wishing to provide financial help can contribute directly to Rajpal Yadav or through FWICE, which guarantees transparency. Any funds will be managed responsibly to help him settle his debts as soon as possible.”
