Film director and choreographer Farah Khan takes a moment to reflect on the joyful journey of motherhood as her triplets, Czar, Diva, and Anya, celebrate their 18th birthday this Wednesday. Embracing this significant milestone, she believes that the greatest legacy a parent can offer is a treasure trove of happy memories. To commemorate the occasion, Farah shared a heartwarming video montage showcasing some previously unseen, cherished moments of her children throughout the years.
Expressing her feelings, she described it as a true privilege to be the mother of such wonderful kids. In her heartfelt birthday message for Czar, Diva, and Anya, she wrote, “And just like that… they’re 18. The best inheritance you can leave your kids are happy memories, the best education you can afford, and a touch of dysfunction. czarkunder divakunder anyakunder… it’s a privilege being your mother (sic).”
The post garnered love from several celebrities, including Riddhima Kapoor, Bhavana Pandey, Nakuul Mehta, and Shoaib Ibrahim, who reacted with red heart and evil eye emojis.
Looking back on her love story with husband Shirish Kunder, their romance began on the sets of the film Main Hoon Na, where Farah directed and Shirish served as the editor. Rumor has it that Shirish joined the project solely due to his crush on Farah. Unaware of his feelings, she gradually fell for him too. Eventually, during a party, Shirish mustered the courage to confess his feelings, leading to a blossoming relationship.
Farah and Shirish tied the knot in December 2004 during a registered ceremony, followed by a traditional South Indian wedding where Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri performed Farah’s kanyadan. The couple joyfully embraced parenthood in 2008, welcoming their triplets – two daughters and a son.
