Dhurandhar 2 Breaks Records with Rs 100 Crore on Opening Day
Ranveer Singh’s highly anticipated espionage thriller, Dhurandhar 2, has taken the box office by storm, achieving a monumental opening day figure. Despite facing challenges like show delays and cancellations, the film managed to surpass the Rs 100 crore milestone on its debut.
According to industry reports, the Aditya Dhar-directed feature has grossed an impressive Rs 102.55 crore on its first day, with the Hindi version contributing a significant Rs 99.10 crore. Notably, the first installment, Dhurandhar, which set records as the highest-grossing Hindi film, opened with Rs 27 crore when it premiered in December 2025. This means Dhurandhar 2’s opening day earnings are nearly four times greater than its predecessor.
