As the success of *Dhurandhar 2* continues to soar, actress and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut has taken to social media to commend director Aditya Dhar. She emphasized that filmmakers often outshine even the biggest stars but rarely receive the recognition they deserve. While praising Dhar’s work, fans noted her omission of the cast members, including Ranveer Singh, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Rakesh Bedi, and Sara Arjun.
On Saturday, March 21, Kangana shared her reflections via an Instagram story. She wrote, “The most remarkable aspect of *Dhurandhar*’s success is that Aditya Dhar, as a superstar director, is truly established. In Hollywood, directors like Spielberg, Tarantino, and Nolan are considered greater than the leading actors. We often overlook the contributions of our filmmakers; they work tirelessly, face underpayment, and are often overshadowed by superstars. I hardly meet any young individual—whether insider or outsider—who dreams of becoming a filmmaker or a technician.”
Kangana further pointed out that while many claim to possess talent, most aspire only to be actors. She praised Aditya, stating, “Here stands a superstar filmmaker shining brighter than any hero. Today, countless youngsters are inspired by his journey and will aim to elevate the film industry to new heights!” She concluded her note with a salute to Dhar, writing, “Salutations, sir @adityadharfilms.”
*Dhurandhar 2*, directed by Aditya Dhar, is an espionage action thriller featuring Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, and Sara Arjun. The film’s first installment, released on December 5 last year, achieved blockbuster status. The *Dhurandhar* series draws inspiration from real-life events, particularly focusing on geopolitical tensions and the covert operations undertaken by India’s R&AW, notably highlighting Operation Lyari, which aimed to dismantle gangs and criminal networks in Karachi’s Lyari area.
