Aparshakti Khurana has consistently defied categorization in his Bollywood journey. After making a remarkable debut with Dangal in 2016, he has enjoyed a thriving career over the past decade, showcasing his versatility in films like Stree, Jubilee, Luka Chuppi, and Berlin. Reflecting on his growth and diverse film choices, he has expressed a keen interest in pursuing biopics.
When discussing his development as an actor, Aparshakti noted that it’s up to others to judge his evolution. He remarked, “Whether I’ve evolved as an actor or not is for the audience, my colleagues, and the industry to decide.”
Reinvention has been a cornerstone of Khurana’s career. He shared, “I feel content with my journey so far. Thankfully, I’ve explored a variety of roles and projects. My goal has always been to tap into various creative avenues, whether it’s acting, music, or hosting.”
He also mentioned his selective approach to projects, saying, “I try to prioritize what I genuinely want to do. So far, I haven’t regretted turning down any project that later became a hit.”
Regarding his dream roles, the actor acknowledged a long list of esteemed directors and production houses he hopes to work with but prefers not to dwell on it. “There will always be a wish list of big directors and roles, but I try not to get caught up in it,” he explained.
Aparshakti is enthusiastic about exploring more sports and musical biopics. “If I could choose, I’d love to portray a sports legend or a musician. Both genres resonate with me deeply and bring out my best performance. For instance, Fauja Singh inspires me tremendously, having run marathons even at 100+. Stories like his are incredibly moving. I’m also drawn to the idea of a biopic on Lucky Ali. It’ll be exciting to see what the future holds.”
With his newfound interest in sports and musical biopics, it’s clear that Aparshakti Khurana is ready to take his career in an unconventional direction, showcasing his multifaceted acting abilities once again!
