However, in light of the massive success of Dhurandhar 2 at the global box office, the film’s release has been postponed to April 17, a week later than initially planned for April 10. The paid previews for Bhooth Bangla will commence on April 16, 2026, starting at 9 PM.
In an announcement on Instagram, producer Ektaa Kapoor shared, “After thorough discussions and numerous appeals from our distribution partners and exhibitors in key markets, we have made the decision to delay Bhooth Bangla’s release by one week. Our commitment to providing an exceptional cinematic experience remains strong, and we believe this choice will benefit audiences, ensuring the film enjoys a robust run in theaters!”
She further emphasized, “Dhurandhar: The Revenge is currently experiencing remarkable box office success, which is promising news for the entire production community. Our exhibitors suggested that allowing it a clear, uninterrupted release window would be advantageous for the industry as a whole.”
