The cinema scene is in for a treat, as producer Firoz A Nadiadwallah is gearing up to bring laughter back to the big screen. His upcoming project, Welcome to the Jungle — the third chapter in the Welcome series — is set to premiere on June 26. As this star-studded film approaches its finish line with only one song left to film, Nadiadwallah is already diving into the creation of a fourth installment.
Fans of the franchise will be thrilled to see beloved characters Uday Shetty, Majnu Bhai, and Dr. Ghungroo return in this new edition. According to an insider, “Firoz and his writing team have been diligently crafting the script for Welcome 4, and it’s well underway.” The dynamic trio of Nana Patekar, Anil Kapoor, and Paresh Rawal is confirmed to reprise their iconic roles.
Interestingly, Rawal will appear in Welcome to the Jungle, but he will portray a new character rather than Dr. Ghungroo. The insider adds, “The scripting for Welcome 4 is carefully structured so that these three beloved characters are seamlessly integrated into the narrative. The storyline will be entirely fresh.”
In previous films, the late Feroz Khan and Naseeruddin Shah played the villains, but for the fourth installment, the creators are eager to introduce new antagonists. “Welcome 4 will feature multiple charming dons who are celebrated more for their comedic antics than for their underworld activities. We’re currently in discussions with leading actors for these roles. The film will be part of a family-friendly universe filled with humor, glamour, and action,” reveals the source.
