Manoj Kumar began his cinematic journey in 1957 with the film ‘Fashion,’ appearing in supporting roles in other movies like ‘Sahara,’ ‘Chand,’ and ‘Honeymoon.’ He landed his first leading role in ‘Kaanch Ki Gudiya’ in 1961 and achieved significant recognition in 1962 with Vijay Bhatt’s ‘Hariyali Aur Rasta,’ alongside Mala Sinha. His successful films include ‘Shaadi’ (1962), ‘Dr. Vidya’ (1962), ‘Grahasti’ (1963), and ‘Phoolon Ki Sej.’ He gained widespread fame with the mystery thriller ‘Woh Kaun Thi?’ opposite Sadhana. Over a remarkable career spanning more than four decades, he appeared in 55 films. Tragically, he passed away last year at the age of 87 due to chronic heart complications, with decompensated liver cirrhosis noted as a secondary cause of death according to hospital records.
