Actor Pratik Gandhi has shared his pride in the Gujarati film *Laalo ā Krishna Sada Sahaayate* for becoming the first from the industry to surpass the Rs 100 crore milestone, marking a pivotal moment for Gujarati cinema.
In light of the film’s success, Pratik remarked, “It’s a moment of pride for Gujarati cinema that *Laalo* is the first film to achieve the 100 crore benchmark. This is a remarkable milestone for the entire team, and their journey makes this accomplishment even more inspiring.”
He emphasized the film’s narrative, which serves as a reminder to trust the process and work sincerely without getting caught up in the outcomes. “It taught me not to overthink but to engage in my work honestly while trusting the journey. When the team began, they were uncertain if the film would even be finished, let alone achieve such historic success,” he stated.
He added, “However, they maintained a quiet confidence that something good would emerge. That belief and sincerity resonate through the film. I take pride in the fact that *Laalo* has illuminated Gujarati cinema.”
The film is now preparing for its World Digital Premiere on Sony LIV. Pratik expressed his enthusiasm, saying, “Iām thrilled it will reach a broader audience with its OTT release on Sony LIV. I hope more viewers experience its simple yet heartfelt storytelling.”
At the heart of *Laalo ā Krishna Sada Sahaayate* is the journey of Laalo, a modest rickshaw driver burdened by poverty, guilt, and an unresolved past. When he finds himself mysteriously trapped in a secluded farmhouse while seeking quick money, silence becomes his closest companion. In that stillness, divine visions of Lord Krishna begin to appear. These gentle yet impactful moments of Krishna bhakti lead him to confront his fears, embrace his truth, and rediscover hope. What unfolds is not merely a story of survival but a deeply personal journey toward redemption and spiritual awakening.
Produced by Manifest Films, Jay Vyas Productions, and Ajay Balavant Padariya, this devotional drama is directed by Ankit Sakhiya and features a script by Krushansh Vaja, Vicky Poornima, and Ankit Sakhiya. The film stars Reeva Rachh, Shruhad Goswami, Karan Joshi, Mishty Kadecha, among others. It has been streaming on Sony LIV since March 6.
