With Salim now recovering well, Salman has jumped back into his work routine. Social media is buzzing with photos of the actor enjoying moments with his co-stars.
On the sets of ‘Battle of Galwan,’ Salman was seen filming alongside younger cast members, many of whom were dressed in military attire. One particularly heartwarming image shows Salman posing happily with a group of fellow actors, radiating joy and camaraderie.
Is there a delay in the film’s release?
As reported by Bollywood Hungama, the production team is contemplating a possible delay in the film’s launch, initially set for April 17. The source mentioned, “Although ‘Battle of Galwan’ was slated for release on April 17, the shoot is still ongoing, and the reshoots are taking longer than anticipated.” Originally, filming was expected to wrap up by the end of February, but this timeline was disrupted due to Salim Khan’s unexpected health situation.
In addition to completing the filming, the film must also undergo screening by the Ministry of Defence as part of standard procedures. The source further stated, “Given these factors, the makers are concerned that they may not meet the April deadline. Salman believes that this significant and patriotic film deserves careful attention, urging the team to avoid rushing and to take the necessary time to ensure the end product is engaging and cinematic.”
‘Battle of Galwan’ draws inspiration from the real-life confrontation between Indian and Chinese forces in the Galwan Valley of eastern Ladakh on June 15-16, 2020. Following the teaser’s release, some Chinese media outlets claimed the film misrepresented historical facts. Neither Salman Khan nor director Apoorva Lakhia has publicly addressed this controversy. The film also features Chitrangada Singh in a pivotal role, alongside Zeyn Shaw, Ankur Bhatia, Abhilash Chaudhary, Vipin Bhardwaj, and Heera Sohal.
