Amid the ongoing LPG shortage in India, exacerbated by geopolitical tensions in the Middle East, actress Sameera Reddy has taken to social media to offer a lighthearted perspective on the situation. In a recent post on her official Instagram account, the star of ‘De Dana Dan’ shared a humorous video where she treats her LPG cylinder like royalty. In the clip, Sameera warmly welcomes the cylinder into her home, complete with a crown bearing the title “King Gas.” She goes all out, fanning it with cash, serving it tea, presenting flowers, and even snapping a selfie together, fully committed to ensuring her cylinder stays put.
In her Instagram caption, she quipped, “Making sure this guest never leaves (sic),” alongside a crown emoji. The post quickly garnered attention, with many fans flooding the comments with laughter and joy. Sameera’s Instagram feed is filled with entertaining content, showcasing her vibrant personality.
Earlier this year, filmmaker Farah Khan revealed that she once considered Sameera for the role of Miss Chandni in her 2004 film “Main Hoon Na,” a part that ultimately went to Sushmita Sen. During a visit for Farah’s YouTube channel, she reminisced about first noticing Sameera in her music video for “Ahista.” When Sameera expressed her surprise at not being chosen, Farah explained that circumstances had changed, as Sameera had already committed to another project, “Maine Dil Tujhko Diya.” Despite the missed opportunity, Sameera was thrilled to have been considered for such a significant role.
