On Saturday, actress Shilpa Shirodkar found herself caught in a frustrating four-hour traffic jam while commuting in Mumbai. Instead of letting the frustrating experience get her down, the ‘Jatadhara’ star humorously remarked that she would have preferred to rewatch Ranveer Singh’s ‘Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge’ in the theater. Sharing a snapshot of the traffic on her Instagram Stories, Shilpa quipped, “I’ve spent over 4 hours today traveling to work and back. I would have much rather enjoyed #dhurandhartherevenge again!”

Earlier in the day, the ‘Bigg Boss 18’ contestant took to social media to highlight her traffic troubles, posting a photo that captured the early morning gridlock in the bustling city. In her Instagram Stories, she wrote, “Kahan jaa rahe ho aap sab itne subah? (Where are you all going so early in the morning?) Mumbai traffic at 5:55 am.”

‘Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge’ has been receiving rave reviews from audiences, with several notable figures in the entertainment industry praising the hit film. On the work front, Shilpa is set to star in the upcoming web series ‘Shankara The Revolutionary Man,’ which delves into the life and teachings of the revered saint and philosopher Adi Shankaracharya. Produced by Modi Studios in conjunction with Rajarshi Bhupendra Modi, the series will feature a talented cast including Abhishek Nigam, Rati Pandey, Rajesh Shringarpure, Farnaz Shetty, and Manoj Joshi.

In a previous interview with IANS, Shilpa spoke about how ‘Shankar – The Revolutionary Man’ has led her on a profound spiritual journey. She expressed that this experience has contributed to her personal growth, allowing her to explore a deeper sense of purpose beyond her acting career. “I have always been spiritually inclined and enjoy learning and exploring various forms of knowledge. So when this opportunity came my way, I recognized it as a life-changing moment. I realized being part of this project would offer immense personal and professional learning,” Shilpa explained.
