Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty was spotted outside Mumbai`s Lilavati Hospital on Thursday. According to the paparazzo page Viral Bhayani, the actress hurried to the hospital after her mother, Sunanda Shetty, was admitted. The paparazzi page posted a video of Shilpa coming inside the hospital, captioned, “Shilpa Shetty rushed to Mumbai`s Lilavati hospital, where her mother has been admitted. Get well soon, Auntyji (sic).”

Shilpa Shetty or her family hasn`t shared any official statement regarding Sunanda Shetty`s health and hospitalisation. Fans of the actress are praying for her mother`s quick recovery. A netizen said, “Get well soon.” Another Instagram user said, “God bless her.” Another netizen added, “Get well soon, aunty ji (sic).”

Shilpa Shetty`s mother had a critical surgery in 2023

This isn`t the first time Shilpa Shetty`s mother has been hospitalised. Earlier, in 2023, she underwent a critical surgery. Shilpa had taken to her Instagram handle, sharing a heartfelt note for her mother. In the long post, Shilpa had written, `Seeing a parent undergo a surgery is never easy for any child. But, if there’s anything I want to emulate from my mom, it’s her guts and her fighting spirit. The past few days have been a rollercoaster. But my hero and my hero’s hero saved the day! Thank you so much, Dr Rajeev Bhagwat, for taking such good care of Ma before, during, and after her surgery.`

She further added, `A HUGE thank you with a grateful heart, to the doctors and the staff at Nanavati for their relentless support & care. Please do keep Ma in your prayers till she makes a full recovery, my dearest Insta Fam. Prayers work miracles.`

When Shamita opened up about Endometriosis

Apart from Shilpa Shetty`s mother, even her sister Shamita Shetty had a tough phase while she was healing from Endometriosis. She wrote, “Did you know that almost 40 % of women suffer from Endometriosis… and most of us are unaware of this disease!!! I want to thank both my doctors, my gynac dr Neeta Warty ( Breach Candy ) and my Gp dr Sunita Banerjee, for not stopping till they found out the root cause of my pain! Now that I’ve had this disease surgically removed, I’m looking forward to good health and now more physically pain-free days!”
