Priyanka Chopra Jonas is currently in Hyderabad for the grand Globetrotter event. Directed by SS Rajamouli, the Telugu film also stars Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran. The project marks Priyanka’s much-awaited return to Indian cinema. The actress, who has been living in Los Angeles, has primarily focused on her international career in recent years.
Priyanka Chopra answers fan questions
On Wednesday, Priyanka held an AMA session on X ahead of the big event, answering fan questions about the film and her experience shooting it. Apart from Globetrotter, she also spoke about her husband, singer Nick Jonas, and their daughter, Malti Marie.
When a fan asked which Hindi words she had taught her American husband, Priyanka replied, “Khana, paani, pyaar, paneer, but I think he picked them up himself!”
She also shared a heartwarming memory from the Globetrotter set when her daughter visited Hyderabad. “My daughter has been to the set in Hyderabad and had the best time with urstrulyMahesh and Namrata’s beautiful daughter Sitara. She also went to ssrajamouli’s farm and met a calf — that’s her favorite memory.”

Fans were also curious about her experience on the sets of Rajamouli`s film and her first Telugu-language movie. When a fan asked if she would be conversing in Telugu at the upcoming event, she said, “I’m still working on learning Telugu, so please forgive my mistakes. But I’ll try,maybe a mix? What do you think?”

What to expect from the Globetrotter event?
The mega event will take place at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad, where over 50,000 attendees are expected to join the grand celebration. Setting new benchmarks for scale and spectacle, the teaser and first look will be unveiled on a massive 130 ft x 100 ft screen — the largest ever in India, creating a breathtaking visual experience unlike any other.
The evening will also feature a special performance of the movie’s title track by Shruti Haasan and Divine, followed by the much-awaited unveiling of a stunning three-minute teaser introducing Mahesh Babu’s character, filmed against the breathtaking backdrop of the Masai Mara. To mark the moment, Mahesh Babu will make a grand entry, leading into the teaser reveal, which will culminate in a spectacular fireworks show lighting up the skies over Ramoji Film City.
The teaser will also be available in both English and Telugu, making it accessible to a wider audience across India and beyond.
