Priyanshu Painyuli is still basking in the emotional afterglow of Tere Ishk Mein, the trailer of which released recently. He recalls feeling an immediate pull toward director Aanand L Rai’s story. “The film came to me at a time when I was craving something that moved me emotionally. From the first narration, I felt an instant connection to the story, the people, the vision, and of course, AR Rahman’s music. Everything just felt right.”

Sharing screen space with Dhanush and Kriti Sanon only deepened the experience. “There’s an honesty they bring to their performances that makes you raise your own game. The world of Tere Ishk Mein thrives because every character is charged with feeling. It’s a film straight from the heart.”

The actor, who has been juggling the shoot of Tere Ishk Mein alongside JioHotstar’s crime thriller Paan Parda Zarda, says that alternating between two vastly different projects has been “challenging and refreshing.” “I like to call it a beautiful chaos. Tere Ishk Mein is soaked in emotions and music, while my series is an intense, large-scale drama that pushes me to my physical and emotional limits. As an actor, it’s a blessing to live in such contrasting universes because they constantly test and expand my range. I’m learning something new every single day,” he reflects.
