Justin Mosca led the charge with an impressive 60 runs off 44 balls, featuring five boundaries and three sixes, while his brother Anthony Mosca dazzled with an aggressive 62 runs off just 32 balls, including three boundaries and six sixes.
On the bowling front for Nepal, Karan KC, Dipendra Singh Airee, Lalit Rajbanshi, Sandeep Lamichhane, Nandan Yadav, and Kusal Bhurtel struggled to claim any wickets throughout the match.
Nepal, batting first, had a rocky start; opening batsman Kushal Bhurtel could only muster five runs off ten balls, while Aasif Sheikh managed 20 runs from 20 balls. Unfortunately, the innings was marred by low scores, with Lokesh Bam and Gulsan Jha both dismissed for three runs, and Nandan Yadav going out for a two-ball duck. Sandeep Lamichhane added five runs, while Lalit Rajbanshi also followed suit with a duck. Karan KC finished unbeaten on 18 runs off 11 balls, including a boundary and a six.
Italy’s bowling was led by Crishan Kalugamage, who took three wickets for just 18 runs in four overs. Benjamin Maneti also made an impact with two wickets at the cost of nine runs in four overs. Ali Hasan, JJ Smuts, and Jaspreet Singh each picked up one wicket, while Grant Stewart couldn’t secure a wicket.
