Sara Arjun, the talented actress who recently captivated audiences in Aditya Dhar’s blockbuster, Dhurandhar, is set to reprise her role in the upcoming sequel, slated for release on March 19, 2026. Initially, Dhurandhar: The Revenge was expected to compete at the box office with Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups. However, due to geopolitical tensions in West Asia, the release of Yash’s film has been postponed to June 4, 2026. Fans have been actively debating both films on social media, and amidst this buzz, a fake account claiming to be Sara Arjun began mocking Toxic, leading to confusion. In response, her father, actor Raj Arjun, took to Instagram to clarify that Sara does not have a presence on X.
In his post, Raj addressed the misleading comments attributed to his daughter that read, “No toxicity, only Dhurandhar,” which ignited discussions just prior to the trailer launch of Dhurandhar: The Revenge. He stated, “For clarity, Sara is not on Twitter, and she would never write something like this.” Raj emphasized their family’s respect for every artist in the industry, asserting that Sara would never resort to disparaging another film to uplift her own.
He further reiterated, “Sara is only active on Instagram. Any other accounts claiming to be hers are FAKE. Please do not believe or share such posts—this is a concerned father’s request.”
In addition, there have been recent rumors suggesting that Sara has signed on for Imtiaz Ali’s next project. However, casting director Mukesh Chhabra has confirmed that Sara has not yet committed to any new films and will make her decision after the release of Dhurandhar: The Revenge. He reassured fans, “Sara has not signed any other film. We are just waiting for D 2. I will keep you updated about her next project. For now, all other news is just speculation.”
