RR’s newly appointed captain, Riyan Parag, won the toss and chose to bowl first. As the match unfolds, star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja is set to face off against his former team, CSK.

Our aim this season is to win the championship, and we’ve brought in several smart cricketers and all-rounders to adapt to various conditions, whether it’s a flat wicket in Mumbai or a green pitch in Kolkata. In contrast, CSK’s captain, Ruturaj Gaikwad, stated, “It was an obvious choice to bowl first. We hope to start on a positive note. After last year, we entered the auction with a clear strategy, and we’re optimistic about our overseas players: Short, Overton, Noor, and Matt Henry.”
