This pilgrimage followed the team’s remarkable victory in the T20 World Cup 2026. Sharing his experience, he posted a heartfelt message on his social media, saying, “Jai Mata di.”

In the captivating image he shared, Abhishek is seen on the sacred pilgrimage trail, adorned with a tilak on his forehead and dressed in a traditional white kurta-pyjama. His stellar performance in the T20 World Cup final against New Zealand was pivotal, where he scored an impressive 52 runs off just 21 balls, hitting six boundaries and three sixes. Although he faced challenges earlier in the tournament, he truly shone during the championship match.

Thanks to this extraordinary performance, Abhishek has also maintained his top position in the latest ICC Men’s T20I batting rankings, as released by the International Cricket Council. Looking ahead, the 25-year-old is set to participate in the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL). Currently, only the schedule for the first 20 matches has been announced due to state elections. The IPL 2026 is slated to commence on March 28, starting with a match between the defending champions, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
