The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has officially revealed the schedule for the second phase of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026. Initially, only the first 20 matches were announced due to upcoming state elections. Now, fans can look forward to an additional 50 matches that will take place from April 13 to May 24 across 12 vibrant venues in India.
The matches will be held in cities including Bengaluru, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Jaipur, Dharamsala, Raipur, and New Chandigarh.

Kicking off this exciting phase on April 13, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will face off against Rajasthan Royals (RR) at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad. Additionally, the second half of the tournament will feature eight thrilling double-headers.
The tournament will officially commence on March 28, starting with a face-off between the defending champions, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
The Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) Secretary, Santosh Menon, has confirmed that the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium will host five of RCB’s home matches during IPL 2026, along with one playoff match and the grand finale.
